The revolutionary Saber Bass VL Models are high performance, professional basses designed with the exclusive and patented Optical Pickup System, making the Saber's tone and playing experience unlike any other bass. The Saber VL is superbly crafted, with a Swamp Ash body and a premium AAA flame maple top. The reinforced neck is a 34-inch scale, three-piece laminate of rock maple with a custom composite black basswood two octave fingerboard and a flame maple headstock veneer matching the body. The hardware is black chrome, and the bridge is a unique custom carbon/graphite monolith, an individual assembly for each string which also integrates the transducer system.
